Listening to his first songs, on reggae rhythms, one can not help seeing a Gainsbourg connotation without feeling the slightest plagiarism.
The following tracks allow us to discover his 100% Kalki compositions with melodies that wander between blues, ballads or rock.
His words have a way of his own, filled with poetry, violence, strength and tenderness.
He takes us on a journey to the land of his emotions, his loves, his ardor, his sorrows and his joys, his enthusiasms, his madness.
When we know that his first album was entirely produced - confinement requires - with the small means at hand, we can only imagine what he will be capable of when he has effective solutions. It might be worth considering a remix.
Undoubtedly one of the pearls of this beginning of the year.

Un peu de reggae pour bien commencer la journée, ça vous branche ?
Aujourd’hui, on sort des sentiers battus et on s’aventure dans l’univers hors norme de Kalki. L’ancien cavalier professionnel vient de dévoiler son tout nouveau clip intitulé « Dans la fumée des cigarettes », un pur morceau à base de reggae dans lequel le chanteur excelle. Son flow posé et ses paroles écrites avec beaucoup de poésie sont des armes redoutables braquées sur nos oreilles aguerries. Le lyrics clip, qu’il a lui-même réalisé, est sombre, enfumée, et présente bien l’univers poétique de cet artiste provençal d’adoption installé à Aix.
